The New Year has arrived and 2023 officially kicks off my first year of working fulltime on my business - Double Chocolate Press! While very exciting, I have moments of "What the heck am I doing??" Lol! But at the end of the day, I trust God and I know He moved me into this season to fulfill my purpose. I have several things I want to do in the coming twelve months and one of them is to WRITE more. Sure I write posts for social media and I am in the process of publishing my third devotional journal - but I think it's time for some new writing.
I started writing and posting my devotional messages all the way back in 2013! While the word of God is always relevant and the messages are speaking to people in 2023, I want to try my hand at blogging. Talk about my current goals, dreams and aspirations. My life has changed drastically in the last 3 months, and I am enjoying settling into a new and different lifestyle.
My days definitely begin later (thank you Lord), but my overall start to the day has not changed. Wake, devotional reading, prayer and posting on social media. Then I can schedule the rest of my day accordingly. No time clock to punch. No supervisor to approve days off. Not even a co-worker to co-work with. It's all me. My time. My business. My NEW LIFE.
As I continue to write this blog, I am hoping that my audience will find me and hopefully enjoy my new life tales. I think once a week will be my goal for posting. I would love for you to join me as this new life unfolds. I am positive that God has some wonderful things in store!
